The Seed (1967-73/74) was an underground newspaper based in Chicago. The left-leaning publication, which was supportive of radical politics, the Black Panther Party, the Yippies, and other countercultural groups, featured striking art and graphic design alongside news stories, editorials, poetry, and community activist resources.
