May our lives be spared to us to see the close of this and the beginning of another New Year…

A happy New Year this has been to me being with my Dearly Loved Celia at her home all day, then in evening we went to Grandpa Barkers and visited until after 9 then came home and Celia and I visited until 12 o’clock then retired. I stopped @ Mr. Spaulding’s last night. May my life be as happy through the year as today, nothing occurring to mar it, may our lives be spared to us to see the close of this and the beginning of another New Year.
