The race begins with a swim in the Hudson River before a bike ride along Manhattan’s West Side Highway. Athletes then run through Central Park to the finish line, located meters away from the Park’s West 72nd Street entrance. Over 3,000 athletes will participate in today’s triathlon.
Each year over 3000 athletes brave the waters of the mighty Hudson River before biking along Manhattan’s West Side highway.
